Private lessons are where most beginners start their true dance education. They offer the following benefits:

Private lessons (Individual): 

Taking lessons alone with an instructor is the best way to improve your dancing skills. One on one instruction helps you focus on your own dancing strengths and weaknesses. Even if you have a partner, taking private individual lessons speeds the process of learning and gives you a better understanding of your role in a dance partnership. Dancing with an instructor also helps you ‘feel’ what you should be doing better than dancing with someone who is equally matched with your skill level.

Private lessons (Couples): 

Private lessons for couples can help you better understand your role within the dance partnership and can give you insight as to why certain actions help or hinder your partner while you are dancing. The lessons help you achieve your goals and are especially designed with your needs in mind. The dance programs offer specialized focus in a particular dance style and help generate faster learning by concentrated and systematic lesson plans which are easy to follow with the help of your instructor.

Private lessons (Wedding couples): 

If you are getting married and have that special song picked as your first dance, your MADHAT instructor can quickly and easily specialize for you a series of dance steps with a unique customized entrance and exit specific to the song and dance you have chosen for your wedding day. The 5 lesson Wedding Program is geared for your first dance as Bride and Groom and does not include other dances that might be played at your wedding reception.  The 10 lesson Wedding Program allocates 5 to 7 lessons for your first dance and 3-5 lessons for other dances you may choose to learn for your reception party.   

Semi-Private Lessons (2 couples): 

These are private lessons geared toward those who wish to split the cost of a private lesson among friends. This specialized service includes the dance(s) of your choice and is limited to only 2 couples or up to 4 individuals. These lessons are at the single private lesson rate of $70 per hour. That’s like $17.50 per person! What a deal for a private lesson. If you don’t have anyone in particular in mind to share your semi-private group, I’m sure we can try to locate another who is comparable to you in skill level and would be interested in the cost savings just like you!
